Notice on COVID-19 Vaccination for Foreign Nationals in Hohhot
In order to help foreign nationals in Hohhot to get COVID-19 vaccination in the principle of voluntary participation, we will organize the seventh time COVID-19 vaccination for foreign nationals in Hohhot on Jan 19, 2022 (Wednesday), from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at 1st floor, Inner Mongolia Integrative Center for Disease Control and Prevention. According to relevant work arrangements, foreign nationals 3 years old and above will be arranged this time for COVID-19 vaccination (a booster shot is excluded). Foreign nationals who need to get the vaccination, please go to the designated site with valid credentials.

Q1: What is the age requirement for COVID-19 vaccination?
Foreigners in Hohhot who are 3 years old or above are eligible for vaccination.
Q2: Which vaccine will I receive?
At present, Hohhot provides two-dose Inactivated COVID-19 Vaccines made in China
Q3：Should I pay for the vaccination?
Foreign nationals who have been covered by Hohhot social medical insurance scheme may enjoy the same treatment as citizens in Hohhot. Those who have not should bear the cost of RMB 130 per dose and RMB 260 in total on their own on the basis of voluntariness.
Q4.How to get vaccinated?
Foreigners work or study in Hohhot may book your vaccination with your organization; individuals without an employer may book your vaccination with the community where you live.

Please enter the center through the east gate (50m south from the intersection of Ordos Street and Shiyangqiao Road). Due to limited parking space, please come to the site in group or choose public transportation (Bus 27, 59, 81, 83 and get off at Inner Mongolia Integrative Center for Disease Control and Prevention Station).
Q5. What documents are required for vaccination?
Second dose: The vaccination certificate of the first dose and the permanent residence ID card of the People’s Republic of China (or a valid passport, or a valid residence permit) are required.
First dose: The permanent residence ID card of the People’s Republic of China (or a valid passport, or a valid residence permit) is required.
Q6、How about minors?
Foreign nationals aged 3-17 must be accompanied by their guardians or other adults entrusted by the minor’s guardians throughout the vaccination and provide a proxy signed by their guardians.
Q7: What are the procedures for the inoculation process?
Before vaccination at the designated vaccination site, an informed consent and a letter of commitment need to be signed. You should also take personal protection and proactively inform the health status so that the professionals will determine if you are suitable for inoculation or not.
Q8: What are the precautions after vaccination?
You should stay at the vaccination site for 30 minutes of observation after getting vaccinated, and may then leave if you have no adverse reaction. Keep the injection point dry on the day of vaccination and pay attention to personal hygiene. Within 21 days of the first vaccination and within 14 days of the second vaccination, please pay close attention to your own physical condition. If you have any adverse reaction, please contact the Inner Mongolia Hospital (Tel: 0086-471-3283252) for emergency medical treatment as soon as possible.
Q9：Is there any certificate after vaccination?
Foreigners after two doses of vaccination will receive the COVID-19 vaccination certificate in both Chinese and English issued by Inner Mongolia Integrative Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
